We chose the Siberian for many reasons, and one important reason is that we would like to breed with all respect for the animals.
That is why we enjoy working on a natural breed: The Siberian, a breed that has been delivered completely ready by nature and whose lines we have entrusted to us with care and wanting to cherish and preserve without intellect, with all its strength, dignity, and elegance.
We improve the lines through selection and outcrossing, so that old strong Siberian genes are given space again.
We do not make any concessions to inbreeding for certain ears, noses, or to get 5 show specimens from one litter. If there is one kitten in a litter of the right type, we select it for breeding, and the others are sent out as hopefully healthy fancier cats. So far we have been very lucky with nicely typed kittens even though we aim for a low inbreeding percentage!
